明渠流量计是与量水堰槽配用，主要用来测量具有自由流条件的渠道内的污水流量。仪表工作时，传感器不与被测流体接触，避免了渠道内污水的沾污和腐蚀。利用超声波对流过明渠的流体液位进行测量，进而根据已知的液位和流量关系求出流量值；适用于环保部门监测企事业单位的污水排放，适用于污水处理厂测流量。

The open channel flowmeter is used with water measuring weirs and troughs, and is mainly used to measure the sewage flow in channels with free flow conditions. When the instrument is working, the sensor does not come into contact with the measured fluid, which avoids contamination and corrosion of sewage in the channel. Use ultrasonic waves to measure the level of fluid flowing through open channels, and then calculate the flow value based on the known relationship between liquid level and flow rate. It is suitable for environmental protection departments to monitor sewage discharge from enterprises and institutions, and for measuring flow rate in sewage treatment plants.
